Knowledge Management

“Knowledge management is the process of capturing, distributing, and effectively using knowledge.”

The process of knowledge management under ILSP can be summarized as below:

  • Identifying Knowledge Requirements and likely Sources who holds that knowledge
  • Knowledge Capturing/ harnessing
  • Knowledge Distillation, Evaluation and Analysis
  • Knowledge Product Creation or Generation to suit project’s requirement
  • Knowledge Sharing and Dissemination through various means and channels
  • Using Knowledge as a Development and Policy Tools

 

In addition to the above, the ILSP portal facilitates the knowledge sharing among the project staff.  It has a dedicated space to post queries, documents, learning etc and provision for other to learn and respond.

The Knowledge Partners and stakeholders comprises of the following:

  • Community (PG/VPGs/ Federations/LCs)
  • Federation/ LC staff
  • Technical and VT Agencies
  • State and District officials of ILSP
  • Innovation Linkages Project Partners (line depts./ specialised agencies)IFAD and other IFAD projects
